I stopped at the Village Inn and after I sat down, I looked at the menu and decided that just about everything cost a bit more than what I wanted to pay for lunch, so I decided to eat somewhere else later. However, I felt kind of bad for leaving Village Inn like that because it seemed to have very good customer service. The Village Inn used to be part of the old Torcross Apartment Hotel but has now unfortunately gone, along with the hotel itself. Major redevelopment work is currently taking place turning the old building into (surprise, surprise!) luxury private apartments!
